Sacramento Mandarins

At a recent conference, I was asked to define the single most life-shaping experience in my past. Without hesitation, I responded, "Mandarins". I told of 10-hour rehearsal days, tour, discipline, self-discovery, individuality and team work, talent, strength, accomplishment, confidence, and ambition. The will to strive toward excellence. It shaped my very being and has fueled my success.

Mandarins is a genuine family, and something special that makes marching here a unique experience. The lessons I have learned I've been able to carry over to my life outside of Mandarins.

Mandarins has taught me how to find the internal motivation to truly believe that you can achieve anything you want.
