The Mandarins are pleased to announce that a generous supporter, who wishes to remain anonymous, has committed to match up to $100,000 in donations through the end of the year to support the organization’s 2024 competitive season. With this, the Mandarins are launching the “Year of the Dragon Kickstarter” fundraising campaign, starting immediately, with a goal of raising over $100,000 (over $200,000 with that match) from Mandarins supporters (more affectionately known as “Fandarins”) BEFORE December 31, 2023.
“We are extremely appreciative of and humbled by this magnanimous donor’s offer, which will allow us to combat the rising costs of food, housing, transportation and other touring expenses for this upcoming season,” said Dan Fong, President and CEO. “It’s important that all Fandarins act now, as this matching fund will only be available to us through the end of this year. We want to build off our historic 2023 season and this initiative will definitely facilitate that.”
As a 501(c)(3) organization, all donations made to the Mandarins of Sacramento, Inc. are tax-deductible, and are eligible for corporate matching gift programs as well.
Donors of $1,000 or more will be permanently memorialized in the Mandarins Event Center and provided with a personalized commemorative award at the end of the 2024 season.
