The Mandarins is pleased to introduce our 2022 Design team led by returning Creative Director, Becca Anderson. We are excited that the entire 2021 team is returning for the 2022 season along with a few key additions. The Mandarins has added Mr. Jeffrey Capponi, Ms. Anna Smith and Ms. Allison Petro (color guard designers and choreographers) to join an already amazing mix of talented design team members who bring an additional wealth of knowledge and design experience to the Mandarins. Becca Anderson stated, “2021 was the first year this design team had the opportunity to work together to create a production in the most abstract of circumstances. What it proved to us was that we can accomplish something uniquely special with this group of intelligent, passionate, and creative individuals no matter what is thrown at us. I could not be more honored to continue this journey with our Mandarins 2022 design team.” This is an exciting time for our organization as we strive to return to a more normal drum corps season in 2022 while continuing to pursue excellence and creativity and presenting entertaining programs for our fans. Corps Director JW Koester stated, “I am excited to work with the 2022 design team as they create another incredible program that our technical staff and corps members will bring to life in a most exciting manner. Mandarins 2022, It’s Live, It’s Real, It’s Now!”
