Mandarins is proud to announce the recent addition of two employees for the organization. Please join us in welcoming Samantha Oddo as our Human Resources Manager, and Joseph Khalifa as Director of Marketing.
Samantha has been with the corps since 2015, where she aged out with the corps as part of the Euphonium Section. After aging out, she joined the corps again in 2017 as tour administrator, and in 2019 began a new role as Personnel Manager. As Human Resources Manager, Samantha will oversee coordinating all administrative activities related to the employees of the organization, as well as help to manage and implement our new payroll system.
Joseph has been involved with the corps since 2016 when he first joined the corps as part of the Euphonium Section. He continued marching in both 2017 and 2018 in the trumpet section, where he aged out. Joseph returned to the organization in 2019 as the Corps’ Photographer and Social Media Manager, which he still operates today. As Director of Marketing, Joseph will work beyond the Drum Corps to help unify the branding of all branches of the organization, from our elementary school Music Academy program, to our Mandarins Bingo program, and everything else in between in order to create one unified vision and build brand awareness.
While taking on these new positions, Samantha and Joseph will continue their responsibilities with the Drum Corps as Personnel Manager and Social Media Manager respectively. Congratulations again to our wonderful alumni!
