The Mandarins are pleased to introduce our 2021 color guard team led by newly-appointed Caption Head Rocco Duranti. The 2021 color guard team combines an amazing mix of talented and diverse instructional staff and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Mandarins, and we look forward to the new opportunities that this instructional team will bring to the 2021 membership. Creative Director, Becca Anderson stated, “I am thrilled to be working with such vast talent within the color guard community from some of the activity’s most respected organizations. Rocco has done an incredible job of putting together such a diverse team of educators that I am personally inspired to be involved with.” Duranti stated, “I am incredibly excited to join the Mandarins educational staff for the 2021 drum corps season. I believe that the high level of talent in the technical staff and design team will ensure that the future of the Mandarins color guard continues to move forward.”
This is an exciting time for our organization as we continue to pursue excellence and creativity while continuing to present entertaining programs for our fans. “I am excited for the color guard members as I believe that their 2021 educational experience will be truly amazing,” stated Corps Director JW Koester.
