This past week was the culmination of a 56 year old dream, to create our forever home for the Sacramento Mandarins! We celebrated the opening of our 12,000 square foot Mandarins Music Center surrounded by alumni, parents, Fandarins and community leaders from throughout the area. We now OWN our bingo center, event hall, corps headquarters, music studio and Mandarins kitchen. This has been a herculean task by our board members, volunteers, donors and especially by Joe Fong, our Mandarins Board Chair and construction manager. View video of the ceremonies below.
But, this is only the beginning. Our Mandarins Music Center will be a living and breathing facility full of activity. We will be hosting fundraisers, parties, bingo sessions, private music lessons, band classes, rehearsals, and community events. As an example, this Sunday we will be hosting our inaugural Mandarins Super Bowl Party at the MMC (Go Niners!).
Stay tuned as we continue to make announcements for great things in store for the Mandarins.
As always, thank you for your amazing support!
